It was a night of celebration at the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal in Parañaque, as some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry graced the event in support of their respective film entries and the local cinema.

The MMFF 2024 Gabi ng Parangal, which took place at the Solaire Grand Ballroom on Friday, Dec. 27, witnessed the stars, creatives, and filmmakers showing up in their glamorous ensembles.

One of the standouts on the red carpet was Best Actress winner Judy Ann Santos who was classy in her black off-shoulder, body-hugging dress. She had her hair pulled back in a simple ponytail while she finished her look with a black clutch and silver earrings.

Santos was joined by her “Espantaho” co-stars Chanda Romero and Kian Co who looked glamorous in an off-shoulder red gown with a cloak-like finish on its neckline and a dark gray barong, respectively.

The National Union of Healthcare Workers, which represents the employees, is negotiating a new contract with the Oakland-based health giant. It said the strikers demand Kaiser hire more people to ease the burden put on the current staff.

Another eye-catching celebrity was Nadine Lustre who donned a tube red gown and matching gold celebrity, as if she was ready to make another bold statement a lá “Uninvited.”

Meanwhile, Gabby Padilla had the makings of a leading lady in her champagne gown with a v-neckline while completing her look with her curled-up hairdo.

Aga Muhlach, Elijah Canlas, Ketchup Eusebio and Ron Angeles (who added a checkered cropped blazer) all looked dapper in their all-black suits.

It was a family affair for the stars of the “And the Breadwinner Is…” with Vice Ganda leading the pack in his metallic, tube, red gown. His signature blonde locks were pushed back in a mohawk-like ‘do.

Eugene Domingo and Gladys Reyes were elegant in their classic looks, donning a Filipiniana and a pink gown, respectively.

On the other hand, filmmaker Jun Robles Lana and Kokoy de Santos looked dapper in their sleek suits. Argus and Kulot were adorable in their white tuxedo and ruffled pink dress.

Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz were a breathtaking pair in their matching black and white ensembles on the red carpet, with the actress looking divine in an off-shoulder white gown. Fedelin looked striking in his black tuxedo with a white comet-like pattern.

De Santos also joined his “Topakk” co-star Arjo Atayde, who looked handsome in his all-black suit. The film’s co-producer Sylvia Sanchez kept it simple with a black blazer, matching top, and satin skirt.

The cast of “The Kingdom” departed from their Kingdom of Kalayaan costumes, as Piolo Pascual, Sue Ramirez, Cristine Reyes, Ruby Ruiz and director Michael Tuviera wore modern ensembles suited for the red carpet.

Another ensemble who departed from their film’s costumes was “Isang Himala,” with Neomi Gonzales, Kakki Teodoro, Bituin Escalante, Sweet Plantado and director Pepe Diokno looking elegant in their respective red carpet outfits in muted colors.

Aicelle Santos, on the other hand99bet, paid tribute to Elsa’s titular scene as she donned a white Maria Clara top with a red sequinned pattern on the left side of her left chest, resembling the blood her character sustained from the shot in its final act.
