Born in Trinidad on July 14, 1997, Jangoo made his international debut on December 12 at Warner Park in St Kitts in the third ODI between Bangladesh and West Indies. The left-hander stole the limelight on his debut with a stunning 83-ball 104 not out to guide West Indies to victory from a tricky situation.
Jangoo made his professional debut in 2015 for the West Indies U-19 side against Trinidad and Tobago in a List A match. His first class debut came two years later in 2017 for Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2022 and 2023, he played a total of 11 games for Jamaica Tallawahs but could not cash in on the opportunities. His highest score in the CPL is just 30 and the strike rate of 80 in 12 innings also does not paint a pretty picture.
